Konami has revealed more information regarding the Speed Duel GX 2023 box for the Yu-Gi-Oh! GCC. First, the box has a new name: Speed Duel GX: Duelists of the Shadows. As noted earlier, Duelists of the Shadows will include 8 pre-built decks based on the villains of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX for the Speed Duel format. We already knew about the Supreme King and his Evil HERO deck, Titan and his Chess Archfiend deck and Amnael with his Alchemy deck starring the Golden Homunculus. Two new decks revealed including Camula and Tania. Camula was the second Shadow Rider and a vampire who defeated Dr. Crowler and Zane Truesdale. His Vampire deck drains Life Points and his opponent’s deck as he heals. Meanwhile, Tania uses an Amazoness deck that focuses on all crimes.
The Shadow Riders took to Speed Duel and joined forces with other evil characters from Yu-Gi-Oh! The GX animated series to cause chaos and unleash the mighty Sacred Beasts. This box set is designed to allow up to 8 players to dive into their own dynamic gaming experience with 8 pre-built decks along with a selection of other cards that can be used to customize them. Other contents of Duelists of the Shadows includes 20 skill cards, 8 of the 24 secret rare cards, and extra community cards to upgrade your Speed Duel decks. In each box, 3 of the 8 Secret Rares will be the Sacred Beasts: Uria, Lord of Searing Flames, Hamon, Lord of Strike Thunder, and Raviel, Lord of Phantasms.
