Saban Films has released a trailer for an upcoming detective thriller titled Dig. The film is the protagonist Thomas Jane like a father held hostage with his daughter (Harlow Jane) from an unleashed couple (Emile Hirsch, Liana Liberato), and are forced to dig for something that is buried on their property.
The film comes from the director K. Asher Levin (Sweetness, Cougars Inc.), and “promises to be breathtaking and action-packed, and is sure to show off some great combat sequences.” I like the cast, and it actually looks like it could be a decent movie.
The story follows “a widowed father and his daughter suffering from severe hearing loss whose house is being demolished. Upon arriving at the construction site, they are soon taken hostage by a dangerous couple, who will stop at nothing to retrieve what is hiding under the property. The father and daughter must work together to outwit their captors and survive the grueling night.
Saban Films will be released Dig in some US theaters and on VOD on September 23, 2022.
