Netflix recently released a new action-packed trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The new Netflix Anime series comes from CD Projekt Red and Studio Trigger and is set in the world of Night City from the much-discussed game of the former. Cyberpunk 2077. The show will follow a street kid aiming to become an edgerunner and it looks like if you are into bloodthirsty anime you will love it.
In a dystopia full of corruption and cybernetic implants, a talented but reckless street kid struggles to become an edgerunner: a mercenary outlaw.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will contain ten 30-minute episodes due out in September. The exact date has yet to be announced. The anime sees Rafał Jaki by CD Projekt Red as showrunner and executive producer of the series in production since 2018! Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren Lagann) directs the series with Hiromi Wakabayashi (Kill Kill her) as creative director, Yo Yoshinari (Little witch academy) as a character designer and animation director, e Yoshiki Usa (Promise) And Masahiko Otsuka (Star Wars: Visions) wrote the script. The score consists of Akira Yamaoka (silent Hill).
