The second phase of Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The High Republic the storytelling plan will be launched in a few months. There will be several new comics coming along with an original audio drama titled Star Wars: The High Republic: The Battle of Jedha.
Phase II of The High Republic will tell stories set 150 years before Phase I, which is approximately 350 years before the start of The Skywalker Saga. It will focus on Jedha, “a planet rich in its connection with the Force and the hub of every great faith in the galaxy. The new flagship Star Wars: The High Republic The comic series will introduce Jedi Vildar Mac, who comes when Jedha’s fragile peace begins to crumble and a nameless terror arrives.
In a recent episode of Star Wars: The show of the High Republic, host Krystina Arielle has revealed two new characters that will be introduced in Phase II and there is concept art for those characters. The first character is Axel Greylark, the Chancellor’s son, and will be featured in Zorida Córdova’s Star Wars: Convergence. The art comes from MinJi Yoon.

On the close orbiting planets of Eiram and E’ronoh, the growing pains of a galaxy with limited resources but unlimited ambitions are intensely felt. Their mutual hatred has fueled half a decade of escalating conflict and now threatens to consume surrounding systems. The last hope for peace emerges when the heirs of the royal families of the two planets plan to marry.
Before a lasting peace can be established, an assassination attempt targeting the couple brings Eiram and E’ronoh back into an all-out war. To save both worlds, Jedi Knight Gella Nattai volunteers to find the culprit, while Chancellor Kyong appoints his son, Axel Greylark, to represent the Republic’s interests in the investigation.
But Axel’s deep distrust of the Jedi ignites against Gella’s belief in the Force. She has never met such a swollen and privileged reveler, and he has never met a more serious and relentless benefactor. The more they work to untangle the dark web of investigation, the more complicated the conspiracy seems to be. With accusations flying and potential enemies in every shadow, the couple will have to work together to have some hope of bringing the truth to light and saving both worlds.
The other character revealed is a Jedi Master character, Silndra Sho, who will appear in The High Republic: In search of the hidden city. “Jedi Master Silandra Sho shown here in an illustration by Jeff Thomas and based on concept art by Iain McCaig. As his weapon of choice, Silandra considers herself a shield against evil in the galaxy.”
