The venue, originally opened on May 24, 1991 by KB Theaters, has recently operated as a Bau-tie cinema.

The nine-room Solomon Island Road room will reopen this summer.

Landmark Theaters have a long history in Maryland and Washington, DC. The brand is currently headquartered in Bethesda Row in Bethesda, Maryland, and at E Street Cinema and Atlantic Plumbing in Washington, DC.

Negotiations regarding the operation of the Annapolis Harbor Center theater were led by Michael Fant, SVP Landmark of the Real Estate and Development Division. William Winterburn, vice president of Lerner Retail Leasing, was the owner.

“We are delighted to announce the opening of the Landmark Theaters at the Annapolis Harbor Center. Landmark is the dominant operator in the film industry with over 200 screens in the country’s major cities. “In addition to the first feature films, Landmark offers a wide range of independent, international and feature films for viewers,” said Winterburn.
