A new limited series entitled My dentist’s murder trial is going on HBO, with Pedro Pasquale (The Mandalorian) And Davide Porto (Stranger things) set as a star. The series is based on a true story inspired by the New Yorker article “My Dentist’s Murder Trial: Adultery, False Identities, and a Lethal Sedation”, by James Lasdun. The article told the true story of how Dr. Gilberto Nunez was indicted for the death of his friend Thomas Kolman.
Both Pascal and Harbor will be executive producers in addition to acting. Steve Corrado (The pursuit of happiness, The secret dreams of Walter Mitty) will write and executive produce as well as direct the pilot. I’m a huge fan of these two actors and many of the projects that HBO has, so I’m looking forward to seeing this series. Stay tuned and we’ll let you know as the show develops and gets a release date.
