David Krumholtz will reprise the role of Bernard the Elf in the upcoming Disney + series I Santa Claus. He revealed the news himself by sharing an early video of him on the film set wearing makeup. This is the first time we’ve seen Bernard since 2002 Santa Claus 2.
The video came with the following note: “I couldn’t be more proud to add another chapter to my career in ‘The Santa Clause’ this fall in ‘THE SANTA CLAUSES’ on @disneyplus. I think you will love it! I loved every minute of this character’s reinterpretation, including this moment, when the hair team first pinned my wig. Tune in!”

In the Disney + series of The last man standing creator Jack Burditt, who serves as showrunner, “Scott Calvin (Allen) is on the verge of his 65th birthday and realizes he can’t be Santa forever. He suddenly he is starting to lose his Santa magic and, more importantly, he has a family that could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially his two children who grew up in the North Pole. With plenty of elves, children and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement for Santa as he prepares his family for a new adventure in a life south of the pole.
Tim Allen is returning in the lead role of Scott Calvin / Santa Claus, as well as Elizabeth Mitchell in the role of his wife, Carol. The show is also played by Allen’s real-life daughter Elizabeth Allen Dick as Allen’s daughter in the show. The series will also star Kal Penn, Austin Kane, Red RupaliAnd Devin Bright.
Allen-Dick plays Sandra, the youngest daughter of Scott Calvin (Allen) and Carol (Mitchell). Sandra is a bit rough and unstable, she has a passionate sense of right and wrong and a strong bond with animals, especially since there are no humans of her her age in the North Pole, which makes her alone.
Kane appears as Cal, the eldest son of Scott Calvin and his wife Carol. Cal lacks determination and focus, not sure what he wants but he knows he’s not at the North Pole and seems ill-equipped to survive in both worlds, even though he may slowly change.
Redd will play Grace. Sweet, loving and kind, Grace is the angelic daughter of game inventor and product developer, Simon Choksi (Penn). Her faith in Santa Claus and her love for all that is Christmas could melt the heart of even the greatest unbeliever.
Bright confronts Noel, Santa’s trusty right-hand elf. Optimistic and energetic, Noel perceives himself as Santa’s best friend.
