Actress Krysten Ritter, known for her roles in Marvel’s “Jessica Jones” or “Breaking Bad”, will act and produce the sequel to “Orphan Black”, which will premiere in 2023 on the streaming platform AMC +. The new series will have 10 episodes.

‘Orphan Black: Echoes’ will be a dystopian series set in the not too distant future (within the same universe as the original ‘Orphan Black’), which it will address scientific issues such as human existence. A group of women, including Krysten Ritter’s character Lucy, are grappling with the details of their own identity. The series will see Anna Fishko as creator and John Fawcett, creator of “Orphan Black”, will be involved as executive producer.
“Orphan Black” was a hit, highlighting Tatiana Maslany’s incredible performance as the lead clones, roles that earned her an Emmy Award. Now she made the leap to Marvel as Jennifer Walters, Hulk’s cousin in “She-Hulk: Lawyer She-Hulk”. Additionally, the appearance of Charlie Cox’s character Daredevil, among other cameos, has been confirmed by the series itself. Krysten Ritter hasn’t made it to the MCU yet because Jessica Jones didn’t belong in the franchise, but will she move in as her partner from “The Defenders”?
Will Jessica Jones make a cameo?
There is a theory about hair: Our haircut not only reveals our personality, but also where we are in our life. If you apply this theory to Krysten Ritter’s Instagram account, you can still make some educated guesses about her hairstyle. Rumors suggest the actress may be preparing for Jessica Jones’s return and, if it were soon, we would see her appear in “She-Hulk: Lawyer Hulka”.
Disney + has collected all those titles that Netflix had developed together with Marvel. In Spain, from 29 June ‘Daredevil’, ‘Jessica Jones’ or ‘Luke Cage’ were already part of the Star catalog. Some of these characters have already made the leap into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This is the case of Charlie Cox (Daredevil) in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’, or of Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) who also appeared in ‘Hawkeye’. Will it come time for Jessica Jones?
She-Hulk: Lawyer She-Hulk will premiere on Disney + on August 17th.
