Outfest: ‘Cock N’ Bull 3′ Creators On Aerial Horrific Comedies: “The Gay Disaster Movie You Didn’t Know You Needed”

“We called Deadline the gay disaster movie we didn’t know we needed,” Adloff tells Deadline.

The creative partnership between Adloff and Rhodes dates back to its beginnings rooster and bull Short film released in 2012. His characters Chris and Wes appear in all three films, with a regular cast including Drew Droge, Joey Nash, and Verton R. Banks returning in different roles.

“This series is like an anthology,” Adloff explains. “rooster and bull 3 Technically it’s a prequel. Rhodes adds: “Every movie stands on its own, but it’s always Wes and Chrissy. Firstly rooster and bull, they are best friends and my character Wes just broke up. Second, we are a troubled couple who have decided to open up and end their relationship sexually with other people. “We just get started rooster and bull 1 on a budget of about $150,” says Rhodes. “We spent the first four hours at our friend’s Chicago apartment. And it was just the two of us, our DP Brian. We really only spent money on sushi and some accessories and it was just pranks on people in this apartment.”

“We chose the plane because we wanted to leave the last plane. rooster and bullAnd we were thinking about what could be achieved but at the same time it feels like a great movie like high production value? Adloff says. “We found the great set we could find. Then when I was searching for airplane kits, this crash kit popped up on Google two hours north of Los Angeles, and I think we should write down where the plane crashed.

The placement of the latest film on the plane opened up other possibilities for the creators.

“We wanted an environment with a bigger cast and more players,” Rhodes says. “We were thinking of scenarios where there could be a lot of people in a small space. [In Cock N’ Bull 2] We’ve opened up Wes and Chris’s apartment to these coming ‘connections’. Then we wanted to build from there.”

“We had no other plans when we did the first one,” Adloff says. “I think it was because of the success we had at Outfest and playing all over the world for a year. So we thought we should do another one.”
