Black Panther 2: Tenoch Huerta and 4 other actors who put Latin America on top

With Ryan Coogler, Marvel Studios have opted for the inclusion of several Latin talents in his upcoming MCU film, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” as Mexican actor Tenoch Huerta. However, there are also other Latin American actors and actresses who deserve recognition.

For several months the participation of Tenoch Huerta in the role of Namor in ‘Black Panther: Wakanda forever’, but it wasn’t until July 23 that Marvel confirmed the Mexican’s participation in the Ryan Coogler-directed film. Although it is not the only one and the trailer for the film confirmed the participation of other Latin actors.

The main cast of ‘Black Panther 2’ is directed by Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o ‘, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Danai Gurira, Florence Kasumba, Martin Freeman, Michaela Cole and Dominique Thorne. However, there are other characters who will be of great importance within the film’s plot.

Although Lupita Nyong’o was born in Mexico, the other Mexican actress in ‘Black Panther 2’ is Mabel Cadenawhich gives birth to Namora, the cousin of Tenoch Huerta’s character, a semi-human Atlantean, who has the ability to fly, and who could be seen for a few seconds with her blue appearance in the tape trailer

But that’s not all, because the actors of Maya origin, Josué May Chí and María Mercedes Coroy in ‘Black Panther 2’ have also been confirmed. In Coroy’s case, she is a Guatemalan actress known for her participation in ixcanul and the Oscar-nominated horror film “La Llorona”, and she will play the younger version of Namor’s mother.

While Josué May Chí, born in Chencoh, Campeche, participated in films such as ‘Malinche’ giving birth to Cuauhtémoc, and ‘Hernán’. On his social network he shared the trailer for ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’, but at the moment it is not known which character he will play.
