Finally, the rumors are confirmed Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will have its own series within the MCU. At the Marvel Studios Comic-Con panel, led by studio president Kevin Feige, it was revealed that the fiction will be titled “Daredevil: Born Again” and that It will premiere on Disney + in the spring of 2024, as part of the already confirmed Phase 5 of the saga.

At the SDCC, It was also revealed that “Born Again” will have a total of 18 episodes., becoming the production with the highest number of episodes per season among those produced by Marvel for Disney +. That too is confirmed Vincent D’Onofrio will be featured in the fiction, reprising the role of Mafia boss Wilson Fisk, better known as Kingpin. This is the first fiction of those releases on Netflix whose characters return with their own series.
However, the doubt remains how ‘Born Again’ will work, if it is a reboot that ignores what happened in the three seasons of the series created by Drew Goddard within Marvel Television productions for Netflix or if it will function as a sort of fourth season or sequel.

The title is ambiguous enough to invite one to think that it may be one of the two presuppositions or even a mixture of both, of a similar way to how “Thor: Ragnarok” worked compared to “Thor” and “Thor: The Dark World”. After the end of ‘The Defenders’, the crossover series that reunited Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage, the Hell’s Kitchen vigilante is officially dead.
Will Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Punisher be back?
The third season allowed for greater creative freedom and adapted the comic saga “Daredevil: Born Again” by Frank Miller and David Mazzuchelli. Since the Disney + series carries this subtitle, it is impossible not to think that it will be related in some way to the original fiction of Netflixespecially since this series is currently only available on the House of Mouse platform, as is the case with “Jessica Jones”, “Luke Cage”, “Iron Fist”, “The Punisher” and “The Defenders”.

While Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk are two years away from full return, fans will be able to see them in other UCM productions. Daredevil will be featured in “She-Hulk: Lawyer Hulka,” as seen in the new trailer for the series, which premieres August 17 on Disney +. Additionally, both will be featured in ‘Echo’, which will be released in the summer of 2023 and will also be part of Phase 5.
The emergence of Daredevil and Kingpin began to take shape after their appearances in “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and “Hawkeye” respectively. currently, The question remains whether the rest of the Defenders characters will be on campus as well.
