‘Madame Web’ has already been filmed in Boston, an American city from which we get new pictures of this film set in the Spiderman Universe that Sony is building. With Dakota Johnson as the protagonist, this film which will also see Adam Scott, Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced, Emma Roberts and Tahar Rahim, recently started a production from which we now get new tracks.

Since Johnson was confirmed as the lead in the film, the doubt revolves around the character he will give life to because the Madame Web that gives the title to the film appears in the comics at her third age and connected to a device that keeps her alive. Logically, due to Johnson’s appearance, it was already speculated that this might not be the version we would see in the film, theories that now find new support in the recent video leaked after the shooting.
In it, the aforementioned actress can be seen wearing a characterization reminiscent of one of the young depictions of Madame in the Spidey comics. Specifically, that red jacket suggests the character of Julia Carpenter, which has a long history in Marvel comics. Indeed Carpenter, having acquired spider-like skills as a result of a secret government experiment, becomes Spider-Woman. She would later take over from the original Madame Web that when she dies she chooses Carpenter as her successor, giving her powers of clairvoyance.
Change of date
“Madame web”, originally scheduled for July 7, 2023, has just postponed the release date. Sony has decided to delay this superhero proposal for three months to give priority to “Insidious 5”. So the horror film directed by Patrick Wilson, kept the date of this film directed by Johnson, which found a new hole on 6 October of the same year.
