We’re at San Diego Comic-Con and Paramount Pictures is planning a really cool and fun experience for the upcoming movie Dungeons & Dragons: honor among thieves. This is a film that I was pretty excited about and while we were waiting in line to get in there was a monitor showing photos of the main cast members from the film. These give us our first look at the characters and I took some photos for you to see!
An ex-Harper turned thief escapes from prison with his partner, a barbarian, and reunites with an untalented wizard and a new druid on their team in an attempt to rob the cheating crook who stole all their loot from the robbery. that landed them behind bars and used it to settle as the Lord of Neverwinter. Only the traitor is allied with a mighty Red Wizard who has something far more sinister in store.
Chris Pino is intended to star in the film and he is joined by Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis, Chloe Coleman, Daisy Head, And Ugo Grant. Check out the photos below!
Pine previously talked about the tone of the film and compared it to several movie classics, saying:
“Oh man. Well what I’m going to say is that we had a lot of fun making it. There was a lot of laughs. The way I described it, it’s like ‘Game of Thrones’ mixed with a little ‘Princess Bride’. , just a hint of “Holy Grail”; it’s somewhere on that baseball field. It’s a lot of fun. It has a lot of emotion. It’s lively, it’s the real Eighties, there’s a little bit of “Goonies” there inside. My character, he’s the ultimate party planner. I think he’ll be really good. I mean, who knows, fuck, but I think we have a good chance and John and John are killer guys. They know comedy and they know heart and we had a great cast and had fun doing it. And that’s all you can ask for. “
Goldstein said of the movie, “We want it to be fun. It’s not a real comedy, but it’s an action fantasy film with a lot of comic elements and characters where we hope people really enjoy watching their adventures. “
