“Who needs heroes when you have thieves?”
Finally he has arrived! Paramount Pictures released the first trailer for Dungeons & Dragons: honor among thieves from which he was helmed Jonathan Goldstein And John Francis Daley. This movie is really a lot of fun! I didn’t know what to expect from it, but I love it!
The trailer debuted at the end of the big panel in Hall H at Comic-Con, where they also shared a couple of great clips from the film. It looks like this movie does a great job of capturing the spirit of the game with a perfect blend of action, adventure and comedy. I think D&D fans will really enjoy this!
Chris Pino stars in the film, and he’s joined by Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean page, Judge Smith, Sofia Lilli, Cloe Coleman, Head of daisyAnd Ugo Grant. They all look great in the roles they play and I love the type of characters they play and their personalities.
In the film, “A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers embark on an epic robbery to recover a lost relic, but things go dangerously wrong when they collide with the wrong people. Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves brings the rich world and playful spirit of the legendary RPG to the big screen on a hilarious, action-packed adventure.
Pine previously talked about the tone of the film and compared it to several movie classics, saying:
“Oh man. Well what I’m going to say is that we had a lot of fun making it. There was a lot of laughs. The way I described it, it’s like ‘Game of Thrones’ mixed with a little ‘Princess Bride’. , just a hint of “Holy Grail”; it’s somewhere on that baseball field. It’s a lot of fun. It has a lot of emotion. It’s lively, it’s the real Eighties, there’s a little bit of “Goonies” there inside. My character, he’s the ultimate party planner. I think he’ll be really good. I mean, who knows, fuck, but I think we have a good chance and John and John are killer guys. They know comedy and they know heart and we had a great cast and had fun doing it. And that’s all you can ask for. “
Goldstein said of the movie, “We want it to be fun. It’s not a real comedy, but it’s an action fantasy film with a lot of comic elements and characters where we hope people really enjoy watching their adventures. “
