Netflix shared a first image of their upcoming animated adaptation of Charles Dickens A Christmas carolwhich was developed by the director Stefano Donnelly (Lost in Oz). The film also has a wonderful vocal cast, which includes Olivia Colman, Luca EvansAnd Jessie Buckley.
Evans will play the role of Scrooge, while Colman and Buckley will play the ghost of Christmas past and Isabel Fezziwig respectively. The film is also the protagonist Jonathan Price like Jacob Marley, Johnny Flynn like Bob Cratchit, Fra Fee, Giles Terera, Trevor Dion NicholasAnd Giacomo Cosmo.
You all know the story of A Christmas carolwhich has already been adapted several times, but according to the director this version of the story will be a different experience.
Donnelly said in a statement, “It has been a fascinating challenge to adapt such a beloved and often told story and I think this version will give those in the know. A Christmas carol all the things they expect but not as they have experienced them before. There are more than enough psychedelic, time-traveling and musical surprises to keep those familiar with the story in suspense. “
It will be interesting to see how it turns out.
