Almost six months after the announcement ‘where there was fire’on Netflix, the first trailer of the long-awaited soap opera created by José Ignacio Valenzuela, the same behind the success of the streaming giant, ‘Who Killed Sara?’; where you can see some of his dramatic crime and revenge story with an intense love story.

The first time “Where There Was Fire” was heard was in early 2021, when it revealed that it has several Telenovelas has confirmed its preview on Netflix in that year and the next. After months of waiting, the dramatic thriller finally moves on by revealing its first trailer in which not only its cast is seen in action, but also a bit of the story it will tell.

The duo made up of Esmeralda Pimentel and Iván Amozurrita are the protagonists ‘where there was fire’, in the company of Eduardo Capetillo and Itatí Cantoral; the four actors who also take the spotlight in the first trailer of the telenovela, seeing themselves involved in a crime that will lead to several consecutive ones, including the thirst for revenge.

The soap opera from the creator of ‘Who killed Sara?’will be released on August 17 in the Netflix catalog. Until now, it is not known if the Mexican series will arrive on that day with all its chapters or if, conversely, new chapters will come out weekly from that date.

“Where There Was Fire” shows the ashes behind a crime

The story of “Where There Was Fire” tells how Poncho (Iván Amozurrita) decides to infiltrate the fire station claiming to have a passion for the job, but with completely different intentions from that of “making his dreams come true”. The young man seeks only one thing when he joins the official body: to investigate the truth behind his brother’s death.

Poncho would have arrived at the fire station after several clues about his brother’s death had led him there, being a group of people facing the fire under the orders of Ricardo (Eduardo Capetillo), recently released from prison for unknown reasons and despite this , he managed to get this important position in the team.

On his journey to discover the truth behind his brother’s death, Poncho will meet Olivia (Esmeralda Pimentel), one of the young women who belongs to the fire brigade and who he intends to use only for profit in his investigations … albeit little by little. gradually, a complex feeling will arise between them, which will affect their plans in one way or another.
