Crunchyroll Expo announces full music shows with SiM

Crunchyroll Expo has released the full list of bands that will perform this year. The main headliner will be SiM, an alternative rock group that mixes punk, metal, reggae and ska. They will perform in the first ever live performance of the Attack on Titan The last season, part 2 theme song, “The Rumbling”. Attendees will be able to attend the concerts as part of their Expo ticket. Scheduled times have not yet been announced, but keep an eye out for the day you attend. Here is the full list of bands and the days they perform:

  • Friday 5 August – Seven

    • American artist / producer Kevin Brauer has exploded onto the international electronic music scene under the artist name Sevenn, producing hit tracks with the likes of DJ Alok, Tïësto and Gucci Mane. He is represented by WME internationally and Plus Talent in Brazil.

  • Friday 5th August – James Landino

    • James Landino is a music composer and DJ whose work can be found on numerous anime and video game soundtracks, including Tower of God in collaboration with Kevin Penkin.

  • Friday 5th August – Shihori

    • SHIHORI is a Japanese pop singer-songwriter, best known for her collaborations with Yoko Kanno (Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in The Shell: Stand Alone Complex) and Kohei Tanaka (One Piece). She has written and composed for contemporary artists and for anime series including Fairy Tail, Macross Frontier and The Irregular at Magic High School.

  • Friday 5th August – ATARASHII GAKKO!

    • ATARASHII GAKKO! It is the progressive J-Pop group that brings together elements of modern J-Pop, Showa-era kayokyoku, rap, punk, dance music, but it would be useless to try to classify them in any genre.

  • Saturday 6 August – Young Bombs

    • This Canadian electronic duo has performed at successful festivals such as Lollapalooza and Firefly Music Festival, as well as touring The Chainsmokers, Galantis, R3hab and Adventure Club.

  • Saturday 6 August – SiM

    • Japanese rock band SiM will perform a full headlining set, including the first live performance of The Rumbling, the opening theme of Attack on Titan: Final Season Part 2, outside of Japan.

  • Sunday 7 August – Burnout syndromes

    • The poetic lyrics and electric melodies of the J-Rock group Burnout Syndromes have fueled the opening themes of beloved anime titles including three consecutive seasons of Haikyu !!, the opening theme of Dr. STONE and the closing theme of Gintama.
