Scream 6 will do different and interesting things with the franchise as the next chapter of the story will be set in New York City instead of Woodsboro. Dermot Mulroney is part of the large cast of the ensemble and in a recent interview with ScreenRant, he shared some details about his character and his connection with Ghostface, saying:
“Yes, I play a cop, so in the end they ask me to play a cop here and there, this is one of them. I guess I shouldn’t say my daughter is one of the victims … but I don’t have to describe how or in what way, so that’s what draws me into the story is the strong family ties. “
So, it looks like his character will have a deep connection with the Ghostface killer, whoever will be in the next movie.
The film is also the protagonist Melissa Barrera like Sam, Savoy Brown Jasmine like Mindy, Mason Gooding like Chad, Jenna Ortega like Tara, and Hayden Panettiere (Scream 4). Courtney Cox he’s coming back too. New cast members include Jack Champion (Avatar: The way of water), Liana Liberato (The beach house), Devyn Nekoda (ghost writer), Josh Segarra (Arrow), Samara weaving (Ready or Not), Tony Revolori (Spiderman), And Henry Czerny (Ready or Not).
Radio Silence Matt Bettinelli-Olpin And Tyler Gillett are in production Scream 6which continues the story “with the four survivors of the Ghostface killings as they leave Woodsboro behind and start a new chapter”.
I’m a huge Scream fan, but I’m less thrilled with this movie, especially with Neve Campbell don’t go back to the role of Sydney. It’s a shame. Scream 6 will be released in theaters around the world on March 31, 2023.
