Apple TV + has released the trailer for its next adult adventure series Surf girlswho follows two best friends as they find themselves on a journey involving a cursed treasure, an ancient evil, and are joined by a ghost pirate boy.
Surf girls is based on the IDW graphic novel series of the same name by author Kim Dwinell. He is the protagonist Miya Cech (The edge of the world), Ya Ya Gosselin (We can be heroes), And Spencer Hermes-Rebello (Too much).
Here is the synopsis:
The live-action series follows best friends Sam and Jade as they solve supernatural mysteries in their sleepy California beach town. These best friends must combine their opposing forces of imagination and logic to solve the supernatural mysteries that lurk just below the surface of their city.
Surf girls is written and produced by showrunner May Chanwho co-developed the project with other writers and executive producers Alex Diaz And Julie Sagalowsky Diaz.
The series will debut on August 19. This is the kind of show young preteens might like.
