
Legendary director Steven Spielberg directed his first music video for the new one Marco Mumford single “Cannibale”. Spielberg shot the music video in a high school gym, on his iPhone, and did it in one continuous take.
Mumford shared the news on social media and included some behind-the-scenes photos. She also shared it Kate Capshaw he was producer, dolly grip and art director, while Carey Mulligan he handled the costumes and the sound.
The music video, which you can watch below, is super simple and there really isn’t much to do, but getting Spielberg to direct it definitely gives Mumford bragging rights.
“Cannibal” is out now, and the Mumford & Sons frontman solo album Homonym will be released on September 16th.
Spielberg is also working on his next film, The Fables, which is a semi-autobiographical feature of his early childhood in Arizona.
