Trailer and poster for the mockumentary KILLER WHALES follows an eccentric cast trying to make the next documentary on the great murder

A trailer and a couple of posters have been released for the mockumentary Killer whales, which follows some interesting characters who are trying to get the next big real crime documentary off the ground. It is directed by a British independent director Willow Hamilton in his first feature film, from a screenplay written by Wyatt Bunce.

Killer whales stars Antonio Carrigan (Barry), Neal Bledsoe (Ugly Betty), Greg Vrotsos (Orange is the new black), And AB Farrelly (Gossip boy).

Here is the synopsis:

When aspiring documentary maker Donny Wunder stumbles upon an unsolved murder, he decides to make the next big documentary on the real crime. But as brain-lost suspects and a tyrannical director wreak havoc on the set, the production crumbles spectacularly, culminating in Donny’s arrest. A year later, Donny and the producers sit down for interviews and revisit Killer Whales’ failure. That’s when the shocking fraud that put Donny behind bars is finally revealed. The film is a dark comedy about the loss of innocence of a naive director as he tackles the reality of the entertainment industry.

It looks like a weird and interesting mockumentary and I can’t wait to try it out. Watch the trailer below and let us know what you think.
