Focus functions will open Champions On March 24, 2023.
In the movie, Woody Harrelson plays a former minor league basketball coach who is ordered by the court to manage a team of mentally handicapped players after a series of misconduct. He soon realizes that despite his doubts, this team can go further than he imagined.
Gold Circle Entertainment is also producing the film, directed by Bobby Farrelly from a screenplay by Mark Rizzo.
Starring Harrelson, Caitlin Olson, Ernie Hudson, Cheech Marin, and Matt Cooke.
The project is being produced by Paul Brooks and Scott Niemeyer under Gold Circle Entertainment posters and by Jeremy Plager under 7 Deuce Entertainment posters. Harrelson, Brad Kessel of Gold Circle Entertainment, Alexander Joss, Álvaro Longoria of Morena Films, and Javier Feser and Luis Manso of Pendelton are executive producers.
The movie will be released on the same day as Lionsgate’s release. John Wick: Chapter 4 and United Artists are releasing a limited edition of Zach Braff good people.
