
Oscar-winning actor Daniel Kaluya (Go out, Judas and the black Messiah, No) will not reprise his role in the Marvel and Disney sequel Black Panther: Wakanda forever. Kaluuya played W’Kabi in 2018 Black PantherT’Challa’s best friend and confidant (Chadwick Boseman), and the head of security of the Border Tribe.
It is reported that he was unable to return to the franchise due to the filming of his most recent film, Jordan Peelthe latest thriller by Nowhich will be released next week on July 22nd.
Production in progress Wakanda foreverdirected by Ryan Coogler, which finished in March, and the film will be released on 11 November. After Boseman’s death in 2020, Marvel has decided not to rephrase the role of T’Challa and the sequel will instead explore other characters from the world of “Black Panther”, while also honoring the legacy left by Boseman. Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Letizia Wright, Winston Duke And Angela Bassett are destined to return to the sequel, and Domenico Thorne will appear as the genius inventor Riri Williams / Ironheart, with Michaela Coel And Tenoch Huerta appearing in the film in unknown roles.
Kaluuya will be missing in the second film, as will Boseman, but we hope to get a great film anyway. Black Panther: Wakanda forever will be released in theaters on November 11 this year.
