Dungeons & Dragons Hellfire Dungeon Club Master Eddie Munson is one of the best new characters introduced in the franchise. He’s the one character you didn’t really want to die, and then during the season finale, he sacrificed himself to the evil Demobats so that Robin, Nancy, and Steve could kill Vecna’s body in the Upside Down.
Eddie ended up being bitten several times, and bled to death in Dustin’s arms. It was a tragic death, but there is a chance that Eddie could return Unknown things 5!
Eddie may very well return in the next chapter as the Dungeons & Dragons vampire character Kas, who is Vecna’s trusted right-hand man and lieutenant in D&D. Vecna could run into Eddie’s body and revive him in the same way that Eleven helped Max and possess him with the mind flayer. Kas eventually turns to Vecna, betrays him and kills him.
Kas wields a sword and a spiked shield, reminiscent of the spear and makeshift shield Eddie makes from the lid and nails of a garbage can before confronting the Demobats.
Kas was also mentioned in the first episode of Stranger things 4 when Eddie introduced Vecna as the villain of their D&D campaign. The guys from the club said Vecna must have died and he was killed by Kas.
Oh, and Eddie even had bat tattoos on his arm! So if Eddie doesn’t return as Kas in Season 5, I think a lot of fans will be very disappointed. There are so many signs that he is returning as Kas! If he doesn’t come back … it will be a big shame. What do you think of this theory !?
