I am very excited for the next series Hamster and Gretel from Dan Povenmire on Disney Channel. It was recently announced that the highly anticipated show will launch on the Disney Channel on August 12th and we have received a new trailer with the announcement. Additionally, some recurring characters have been announced such as Bailey, Gretel’s best friend voiced Priah Ferguson (Stranger things), journalist Veronica Hill, voiced by Liza Koshy (Lisa on request), the evil brothers duo Lauren and Lyle aka The Distructress and Fistpuncher voiced by Alyson Stoner (Phineas and Ferb) And Brock Powell (Phineas and Ferb The movie: Candace against the universe) respectively, and Akintoye will voice Kevin’s friend Anthony. They will include other guest stars Jenny Lorenzo (Vittorio and Valentino) as the mother of Carolina Abuelita, Karina La Voz like La Cebolla, Thomas Sanders (Phineas and Ferb The movie: Candace against the universe) as Ammazzavicini, Casey Hamilton (Happy Happy Whatever) as alternate Mr. Chabner, e Adam Rosa as an evil jingle writer The Earworm.
“Hamster & Gretel” features Kevin and his younger sister, Gretel, who are about to receive superpowers from space aliens. But something goes wrong and it’s Gretel and her pet hamster (named Hamster) who suddenly have new skills. Now, protective older brother Kevin must figure out how to work with both Gretel and her pet, Hamster, to protect their city from mysterious dangers.
Hamster and Gretel stars Meli Povenmire like Gretel, Michele Cimino (With love, Vittorio) like Kevin, Beck Bennet (SNL) as a hamster, Joey King (Kissing booth) like their cousin Fred, Matt Jones (Bob Hearts Abishola) as their easygoing dad Dave, and Carolina Ravassa (Maya and the Three) like their charismatic mother Carolina. I am thrilled for August 12th.
