Slowly but surely
It’s been 15 years since the release of “The Search: The Secret Diary”. This latest installment opened up the possibility for years that fans might be expecting a third film. However, on numerous occasions, the protagonist of the original films ‘The Search’, Nicolas Cage, has hinted that he will not see a third episode.

After much speculation, in May 2020 Bruckheimer had already commented that he hoped both the series and the third film would see the light. At the moment we know that the series will have a younger cast, but with the same concept as the original films and that it will be released a season with 10 episodes.
