Last Christmas, we got to enjoy the Hawk eye series on Disney +, which gave us a first look at the character Maya Lopez, aka Echo (Alaqua Cox), ahead of its eponymous spin-off series next year. She turned out to be a tough character in the series and her bonds with Vincenzo D’OnofrioWilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, has made fans more excited to see what’s in store for his storyline.
Where Kingpin is, fans are confident Daredevil isn’t far off, and ever since Charlie CoxMatt Murdock, aka Daredevil, has returned to the MCU via Spider-Man: There is no way to go homewe are all anticipating its full-fledged return, and Echo seems like the most natural place to make it happen, aside from its new one Reckless series under development.
While we haven’t been given many details on how this upcoming chapter will turn out, a new rumor has emerged about Daredevil’s involvement in Echo.
Weekly Planet (via MCU Direct / CB) had a segment where scooper James Clement claimed to know that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil will be on Echo for three episodes, and also talked about Daredevil and Kingpin’s appearances on the show:
“Yes, Daredevil is featured for three episodes, like in Charlie Cox. Kingpin, Vinnie D’Onofrio is four. The Kingpin plot is developing for him to run for mayor of New York City. Apparently, he’ll be wearing an eye patch. because he was shot in the head in Hawkeye … Daredevil is also wearing a red and black dress and is looking for Jessica Jones. “
The conversation continues to speculate on how Echo is laying broader foundations for the entire Marvel Netflix universe to be integrated into the MCU. It will be nice to see how it turns out. I can’t wait to see Charlie Cox as Daredevil again, and I think the Echo it will be great to delve into the story. Are you looking forward to seeing Daredevil and Jessica Jones on our screens?
