I’ve always liked She-Hulk because he’s such an interesting and different kind of Marvel hero. Although she has superpowers, she is a person more interested in fighting crime as a lawyer using the legal system. I was thrilled with the Marvel Studios series She-Hulk: solicitorand thanks to Empire, we have a new photo to share with you along with some additional information about the main character of the star of the series Tatiana Maslany.
She-Hulk: lawyer follows Jennifer Walters “as she navigates the complicated life of a 30-year-old single lawyer who also happens to be a 6-foot 7-inch superpowered green hulk.” The nine-episode series is described as an Ally McBeal-style legal trading.
Speaking of Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk, Maslany explained: “She is really the antithesis of most superhero narratives. Walters is a person who really tries to escape from his new abilities. There is this great element of that. denial in her that is recognizable.For me, it was about rejecting what happened for as long as possible, as that’s what causes the funny tension between Jennifer and She-Hulk.
Speaking about Walter’s legal profession, the actress shared: “She has a male-dominated career, incredibly vicious and hierarchical. When he runs this superhuman company, that’s where we get some really funny characters that he either defends or opposes. It’s like this really crazy version of a legal show.
Keep talking a little bit about working with Marco Ruffalò in the series saying, “We were so silly, like two kids who were handed shovels by our parents and told to go play in the sandbox.”
The show is also the protagonist Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky / the Abomination, and Benedict Wong like Wong, Ginger Gonzaga, Josh Segarra, Jameela Jamil, Jon BassAnd Renée Elise Goldsberry.
Rick and Morty‘S Jessica Gao created the show and Kat Coirò share directing duties on the series with Anu Valia. Executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Kat Coiro And Jessica Gao.
She-Hulk will debut on Disney + on August 17th.
