Rebellious Wilson (Pitch perfect, Jojo Rabbit) is set to the opposite star Carlo Melton (Riverdale, Bad boys for life) in the comedy of road trip, K-Pop: Lost In America. South Korean director JK Youn (Tide, Ode to my father) will direct from a screenplay written by Jeff Kaplan and Ian Springer, with a current draft by Karen McCullah and Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith.

“The story follows a struggling K-pop group who find themselves mistakenly stuck in Waco, Texas, just days before their American debut at Madison Square Garden. Left without phones, money and transportation, the group must overcome their differences and a series of crazy obstacles to get to New York City. Along the way, they learn to love Texas and Texas learns to love them too. “

Shooting is expected to begin in the fall. Sounds like a movie you might like?
