An Army veteran is developing a Superman fan movie called SUPERMAN SOLAR

Andrea List, a US Army veteran has a vision for a Superman movie he is trying to make. The fan movie is called Solar supermanand is currently trying to finance his non-profit Indegogo project. The film is said to be an “emotional journey in which Superman faces his greatest challenge”.

It looks and sounds like a great Superman concept and it would be really cool to see List realize his vision for the movie. I’ll let him introduce himself and share his ambitious vision with you:

My name is Andrew List and I am a US Army veteran and have been in video production for over 15 years. In these 15 years I have made countless projects for TV, film, live events and much more. I’ve also been lucky enough to work with top talent from World Wrestling Entertainment, The Walking Dead, The Arrowverse and many more. Also, for the past 10 years I have managed a successful YouTube channel where my videos have been viewed over 90 MILLION times. By creating popular fan-edited videos you may have seen Justice League Retro Trailer, Avengers vs Justice League, and many more.

Superman has always been important in my life and has always been my favorite character in all media. What has always attracted me to the character is beyond powers and abilities. It is his humanity of him, he chooses to live as one of us to understand our problems, struggles and concerns all the same. While he does large-scale things like saving the earth from alien invasions, he’s also the same guy who stops by to help you change the tire on your bike by the side of the road. This is what I’ve always loved about Superman.

While working on thousands of projects over the years, I have met some incredibly loving and talented people that we have already involved in building our “super” team. The incredible soundtrack was created by Mike Schmidt, the official logo was created by David M. Jones, with fantastic posters of SPDRMNKYXXIII and Render Driver. Additionally, Julian Bell is on the team as the lead in visual effects, Ryan Nunes as director of photography, Megan Loucks, Bobby Devlin along with many other talented people in video, sound, props, costumes and more that are yet to be announced. .

The story we will tell was inspired by All Star Superman, Superman Grounded but above all I have always wanted to see adapted to live action. This concept has been in my head in some form or fashion for about 10 years. Over time, I have constantly added and refined the story I want to tell.

Having superpowers doesn’t make a hero, a hero. It’s being there for those who need you most, regardless of your powers. Superman’s greatest superpower is to give hope, even in the tiniest of moments.

Most of my life, probably yours too, you hear people say they can’t relate to Superman. I’ve always found that notion to be the exact opposite. He doesn’t know his real family, immigrants, adoptive parents, not knowing his place in the world. I don’t know anyone who might feel those things and be unable to relate to one or more. There is no enterprise too big and no struggle too small.
