Searchlight Pictures has released the first trailer for The Secret of Murder, set in the 1950s. look how they run. You can see it above.
Starring Sam Rockwell and Sawyer Ronan, the film is set in London’s West End, where plans for a successful feature film abruptly stalled after the death of an important crew member.
In the trailer, we meet jaded Inspector Stoppard (Rockwell) and aspiring newcomer Constable Stalker (Ronan), who are on the case and find themselves lured by a glamorously dirty theater to investigate their own murder mysteries.
Also starring David Oelovo, Adrienne Broad and Ruth Wilson; Harry Dickinson, Shirley Henderson, Sean Clifford, Jacob Fortun-Lloyd, Reese Witherspoon, Charlie Cooper, Pippa Bennett-Warner and Paul Cheahid are also in the cast.
Tom George’s debut film is a full-length director. Before that, he directed the BBC comedy series. Countryrunning comedy from 2017-2020 and 2018-2019 criminal protection.
The screenplay was written by Mark Chappell and produced by Damian Jones and Gina Carter. look how they run The limited release will hit North American theaters on September 30.
