Christian Balewho plays Gorr The God Butcher in Thor: Love and thunderrecently revealed that there were two Marvel characters that were supposed to appear in the film, but they didn’t do the final editing.
During a recent interview with Prensa Escenario, Bale claimed to have shot scenes with both of them Peter Dinklage And Jeff Goldblum. Dinklage previously appeared as Eitri, the king of the dwarves, in Avengers: Infinity War. Jeff Goldblum played the Grand Master Thor: Ragnarok. Here’s what Bale said:
“I got to work with Peter Dinklage. He’s not in the final movie, but he’s great. I got to work with Jeff Goldblum, he’s not even in the final movie. As you see, a lot of things end up on the editing room floor, too. if it was beautiful and bright stuff. “
Neither of these characters had previously been confirmed to appear in the film, but Goldblum had previously jokingly faced the possibility of Grandmaster returning for it in an interview with Esquire by saying:
“Will I be in Love and Thunder? The truth is, and I can tell now because the trailer is out, I appear in it. It’s my most challenging role to date and I believe my highest score. I ‘” You don’t see me , visually. You never see me. And you don’t hear me. Nor is I referenced, I believe, in any scene. I am perceived, only vibrationally. “
So even if the scenes they shot with him in the movie have been cut, don’t worry, you’ll still be able to sense his presence. Hopefully, these deleted scenes will be shared when the film is released for home entertainment. I like these characters and it would be nice to see what their place in the story would be.
