July starts strong on major streaming platforms. From the first day of the month we will be able to enjoy the outcome of the fourth season of ‘Stranger Things’ on Netflix with the last two episodes being released as Volume 2. But if you’re not hooked on Hawkins’ plots and the world upside down, that same day on Disney + you can have a good “Spider-Man” marathon, well, the three films of Sam Raimi, “Homecoming” and “Venom” will finally share a platform with the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Subsequently, “Spider-Man: A New Universe” will also be available on the same platform, where “Bob’s Burgers: The Movie” will also arrive without making it to theaters.
As for the cinema, among the novelties of July and as unreleased titles they stand out ‘The invisible agent’ (who are the new Russo brothers) and the animated film ‘The Sea Monster’; and among the releases that we can’t wait to enjoy again, this time on the small screen, we find ‘Mortal Engines’, ‘Live is Life’, ‘The Weapon of Deception’, ‘Scream’ and ‘The perfect man’.
In the series section we have the returns of “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” with its third season, the finale, the ending of “Better Call Saul” on Movistar + and “Locked up with the Devil” on Apple TV +. Of course, the real joy of the month was given to us by HBO Max, which will make the entire “Parks and Recreation” series available to us on July 18th.
