The Sanderson Sisters are back in the first teaser trailer for Hocus Pocus 2a sequel to the 1993 fan favorite witch comedy Hocus Pocus. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica ParkerAnd Kathy Najimy reunited for the sequel, which is coming to Disney +, and looks like it will be a fun and delightful film as the vengeful Sanderson sisters return to cause some chaos in Salem.
The synopsis of the film reads:
“This Halloween season, some legends never die …” It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th century Sanderson sisters, and they are seeking revenge. Now it’s up to three high school students to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before the dawn of All Hallow’s Eve.
Hocus Pocus 2 even stars Doug Jones, Whitney Peak, Lilia Buckingham, Belis Escobedo, Hanna Waddingham, Tony Hale, Sam Richardson, Juju Brener, Froy Gutierrez, Nina KitchenAnd Taylor Paige Henderson. This is just a first look at the reintroduction of this classic and the sisters. Could it be fun?
Hocus Pocus 2 is directed by Anne Fletcher (Take a step forward, 27 Dresses, The proposal, The journey of guilt, ChaseAnd dumpling) with a screenplay written by Jen D’Angelo (Workaholics, Young Rock).
