Netflix is preparing to set sail again One pieceand some intriguing new details about season two have emerged. The next season is officially titled One piece In the Grand Line, and now the episode titles have appeared online, giving fans a preview of what’s in store for the next leg of Monkey D. Luffy’s high-seas adventure.
According to a new entry submitted to the Writers Guild of America database, eight new episode titles are listed for the live-action series. Although Netflix has not officially confirmed them, these titles are in line with the creator of the series Eiichiro Oda has already teased. So if these are legit, season 2 is shaping up to be another wild ride.
Here’s what the episodes are called (in alphabetical order):

These playful titles point directly to some major story arcs from Oda’s manga that fans have been waiting to see in live-action form. Some of these things include Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, and Drum Island. Those familiar with the anime and manga know how crucial these story arcs are in shaping the journey of the Straw Hat Pirates.
As confirmed by Oda, Season 2 will once again weave multiple arcs together just like Season 1 did. The action is expected to begin in Loguetown, where Luffy takes a step closer to his dream before heading to Reverse Mountain, the gateway to the Grand Line.
From there you get straight to the dangers of Whiskey Peak, the prehistoric chaos of Little Garden, and the emotional core of Drum Island.
These arcs will also introduce key new characters including the bounty hunter Smoker (Callum Kerr) and Moroccan Works agents Miss Wednesday (Charithra Chandran) and All Sunday (Lera Abova).
Plus there’s fan favorite reindeer doctor Tony Tony Chopper (Mikaela Hoover), alongside Katey Sagal like Dr. Kureha and Marco Harelik as Dr. Hiriluk.
Also includes the cast of the new season Daniel Lasker like Mr. 9, Camrus Johnson like Mr. 5, Jazzara Jaslyn as Miss Valentine, David Dastmalchian like Mr. 3, and Joe Manganiello stepping into the role of Sir Crocodile. Returning favorites include Inaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu in the role of Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, Taz Skylar as Sanji, Ilia Isorelys Paulino like Alvida, Jeff Ward like Buggy and Michael Dormann as Gold Roger.
The official synopsis for the series reads: “The series follows the story of ‘Monkey D. Luffy, a young adventurer who has wanted a life of freedom for as long as he can remember.
“Luffy sets out from his small village on a perilous journey in search of the legendary treasure, One Piece, to become the Pirate King! But to find the ultimate prize, Luffy must assemble the crew he’s always wanted before finding a ship to set sail, scouring every inch of the vast seas, outmaneuvering the Marines, and defeating dangerous rivals at every turn.'”
With production underway and scheduled for release next year, it’s only a matter of time before we see more of Luffy and the crew’s journey come to life. Judging by the titles of these episodes, season two will be full of heart, humor, and some truly epic moments.
