Genndy Tartakovsky reveals tough movies of the animated film Black Knight who tried to do

Genndy Tartakovsky It was behind some of the most iconic animated projects of our time, from Samurai Jack AND Dexter workshop TO Primordial and his recent Netflix movie Fixed. But there is a project that has not been able to give life, and now he is turning to fans to ask for help in making him.

Tartakovsky has finally shared the first look at his original animated feature film The black knightAnd it looks absolutely fantastic! I need to see this movie to be made!

Tartakovsky went on Instagram to reveal the video, revealing that the project has been in development for six years. The clip he shared was not a shiny teaser, but an approximate test made to show studying what he imagined. Even with this, the study was not convinced that an audience would show up in cinemas and the film was set aside.

Now Tartakovsky is changing marches and asks fans to help push this project forward. He explained in his post:

“Well, this could put me in trouble … but I have to try a new strategy. About 6 years ago we started developing a more adult animated action movie, The Black Knight. We developed it for a few years, at the study we liked what we were doing, but they were not sure if there was an audience that would have seen it theatrically.

“We took a test and dirty, and still not going. So to try something different I thought of sharing the test to see if he could get a bike of excitement that would change the mind of the study.”

He also made fun of a key piece of the story that makes the concept even fresher:

“I will not share the details of the story except for an element, our knight armor is 20 feet high and controlled by a knight inside using ropes, pulleys and levers. The setting is around the 14th century. Anyway, I have already said too much.”

Well, it seems strange to me and it is crazy for the fact that it has had difficulty in making this project pass!

The movie he released shows the huge armored knight in combat with an agile killer or mercenary. The struggle is brutal and cinematographic, with the smallest opponent who dodges the knight’s overwhelming attacks until they are briefly captured and launched in a tree.

The murderer regains his foot and uses their speed to stay alive, with the sequence that ends in a stalemate tense while hiding behind the huge sword of the knight.

Even in its raw form, the black Knight seems visually surprising and full of an elegant and affected action. In addition, Tartakovsky’s mockery on the imposing armor driver leaves a lot of mystery for fans to obsess. Who is inside the dress and how did they end up checking this machine for the death of 20 feet?

It is not clear which study currently has the project, but the first reactions to the video have been extraordinarily positive. Fans are already gathering behind it, and it is hoped that this push is enough to finally get it.

Tartakovsky gave us some of the best animated series and films ever made, and the Black Knight seems to be another to be added to its list of classics.
