Amazon MGM Studios has dropped a new trailer for After huntingThe last thriller of the acclaimed director Luca Guadagnino. The film was presented in world preview at the 2025 Venice Film Festival and is heading at the New York Film Festival this week before opening up in the cinemas this October.
The story follows a university professor who finds himself in a dangerous balancing act after a star student accuses one of his misconduct colleagues. While the situation goes out, a secret of his past reappears and threatens to destroy everything he built.
The official synopsis makes fun of: “Not everything should put yourself at ease”. The film is the protagonist Julia Roberts, Ayo Edibiri, Andrew Garfield, Michael StuhlbargAND Chloë Sevigny.
The new trailer moves the focus exactly on Roberts and how his character sails on the relapse. It seems that Guadagnino and the study are leaning on the criticisms from the first reactions, showing how personal and disturbing this drama is.
It looks like another compelling entry into Guadagnino’s career, and with Roberts and Edibiri Front and Center, after hunting seems one of the most intriguing films of the autumn season.

The US version begins on 10 October 2025, with a wide expansion starting from 17 October.
