George A. Romero’s daughter drops the first trailer for Queens of the Dead a Zombie Horror-Commedia

The first trailer for Queens of the Dead He has arrived and promises a wild mixture of glam, field and carnagi of classic zombies.

The film is directed by Tina Romerodaughter of the legendary horror master George A. Romeroand reinvents the Zombi genre with a new turning point.

The story follows “an eclectic group of drag queen, club children and frenies” who must “put aside their drama and use their unique skills” to survive after their gritty nightclub of Brooklyn is invaded by Ghoul’s Ghoul.

Set to a Remixed version of Day of the dead“The iconic theme, the trailer kicks off with Katy O’Brian (Love is bleeding) as Dre, a burnt party promoter climbs to keep his event together. “Mia by DJ and the bathroom is still clogged”, grumbles to his wife, played by Riki Lindhome (Wednesday), while the drag artists fight in the backstage to be unprepared.

Chaos increases only once the show begins. In the locker room, Jacquel Spivey’s Sam admits: “I have never been afraid of the stage”. To whom Nina West’s The character restarts, “What do you say you and me, we kill him. There is nothing to be afraid of. The drag is not life or death.”

The zombies crash early for the party and the nightclub turns into a war area soaked in Neon. The trailer makes fun of many tactics of outrageous survival while the queens and their crew fight using everything they can grab, including guns for glue, cocktail shaker and even hair curlers.

The cast also includes Tomás Matos (Fire island) ,, Jack Haven (Atypical) ,, Shaunette Renée Wilson (Black panther) ,, Quincy Dunn-Baker (No hard feeling) ,, Dominique Jackson (Laying) ,, Cheyenne Jackson (History of American horror) and comic Margaret Cho.

Full of glitter, blood and field not sorry, Queens of the Dead It seems that it will try to breathe a new wild life in the horror of the zombies.

The film will be released in the United States cinemas on October 24, just in time for Halloween.
