Jason Clarke faces Alaska’s Wild in trailer for Apple TV+ Thriller The Last Frontier

Apple TV+ has dropped the intense official trailer for its next thriller series The last frontierAnd it looks like a compelling mix of survival and conspiracy.

The story follows us Marshal Frank Remnick, played by Jason ClarkeWhich finds its isolated jurisdiction in Alaska launched in the chaos after a prison transport plane crashes into ruthless wild nature.

The wreck unleashes dozens of violent prisoners in nature, and while Remnick is committed to protecting his small town, he begins to realize that the accident may not have been an accident at all. Instead, it could be the beginning of something much more dangerous.

The series follows “Frank Remnick (Clarke), the solitary American Marshal responsible for all the silent and robust Alaska bars. Remnick’s jurisdiction is turned upside down when a prison transport plane crashes into the remote wild nature, setting free dozens of violent prisoners.

“The task of protecting the city that promised to keep safe, begins to suspect that the accident was not an accident, but the first step of a plan well made with vast and devastating implications.”

Next to Clarke, the cast presents Dominic Cooper, Haley Bennett, Simone Kessell, Dallas Goldtooth, Tait BlumAND Alfre Woodardwith Clifton Collins Jr.. The series is directed by John Curran (The painted veil, traces, chappaquidick) AND Sam Hargrave (Extraction 1 and 2)bringing a mix of gritty realism and action show to history.

The last frontier It was created and written by Jon Bokenkamp (The black list) AND Richard D’Ovidiowith further writing from Melissa Glenn.

There is clearly more to do here as well as gathering the escaped prisoners. Among the hard wild nature of Alaska, the energy of the survival thriller and the suggestion of a wider conspiracy, it seems a tense and unpredictable tour.

The series will be previewed on the streamer on 10 October 2025, and promises to be a wild race that looks like a mixture of Air AND Gray.
