Tom HollandKnown for oscillating through the Marvel cinematographic universe as Spider-Man, he collaborated with Lego for a short film that shows that the game does not end when you grow.
The new short film, entitled Never stop playingIt is a playful and exaggerated showcase of Holland that slips into several surprising roles that leave him almost unrecognizable. Supported by the anti -space of AC/DC “high voltage”, the short embraces humor, creativity and chaos in a certain sense that only Lego could make.
As LEGO explains, “Whether you are a child or only a young man in the heart, the film is the cry of rally of the Lego group to keep our imagination and the playful spirit alive”.
Fun begins when Holland click on two lego bricks together, unlocking a chain reaction of the transformations. Suddenly he is a Superstar footballer called Gamechanger, then a sharp entrepreneur known as innovator, an audacious artist of art in the creator, a lego under cover minifigure and even a rigid boss that has clearly forgotten how to have fun. Each character highlights the idea that the game is a choice that we can make at any age.
Reflecting on his story with LEGO, Holland shared: “I really liked to build with the Lego bricks as a child. My brothers and I would create our wild worlds, transforming the stay into a prehistoric jungle with our set of LEGO dinosaurs or traces of racing for our Lego cars!
“It was fun to relive those memories on the set. Becoming an official” director “is very nice. No matter how busy life is, I have never stopped playing … and I’m not going to do it soon!”
He continued to add: “I hope this short film that I made with the Lego group demonstrates the idea that playing is a way to express who we are doesn’t matter what age!
“For me, it has always been an important element to explore the world and embrace the environment in which I find myself. That you are on the set or that goes around with my brother and companions, I try to bring a game element in everything I do.”
Fans will also notice that Holland is not alone in this adventure. His brothers Sam and Harry join him for a cameo, making the short more similar to a family celebration of creativity and fun.
Directed by Los Pérez (Tania Verduzco AND Adrián Pérez) Through Biscuit Filmworks, the project brings the distinctive style of the duo of bold visual elements and high energy storytelling, bringing the transformations of Holland to life in wild and imaginative ways.
