Netflix won in a war of competitive offers for a new series with the Oscar -winning winner. Matthew McConaughey (Dallas Buyers Club, Interstellar) AND Cole Hauser (Bud, Yellowstone) which comes from the creator appointed to themly Nic Pizzolatto (The magnificent seven, Real detective).
The project is currently being developed at Netflix, although the final affairs for the two leads are still resolved. The details of the plot are scarce, apart from the fact that McConaughey and Hauser will interpret the brothers.
The series marks another meeting for McConaughey and Pizzolatto, following their highly successful collaboration in the first season of Real detective A HBO.
The couple also had to Re-Team on the FX project RedeemerEven if that series in the end did not go on. More recently, it has been reported that McConaughey would have starred in a film based on Mickey Spillane and Max Allan Collins of Mike Hammer Books with a screenplay by Pizzolatto.
