Trailer of the Mockumentary The Premiere movie on a musical screen gone wrong

Tribeca Films has published the trailer for PremiereA acute and conscious mockumentary of self -awareness from Indie filmmakers Christopher Bouckoms AND Sam Pezzullo.

The film follows Sam, a wildly narcissistic and delusional theatrical producer (Pezzullo), who decides to transform his favorite film of all time, CryIn a full -blown stage musical in Sag Harbor, New York.

His dream moves rapidly to chaos as he tightens with the people of the eccentric place and navigates a painfully embarrassing situation after the other.

In the film: “Draw inspiration from the classic comedians of anger, Premiere It is a largely improvised comedy that obscures the border between facts and fiction. Sam, a painfully narcissistic and delusional theater producer, tries to make a musical version of his favorite film, CryIn a local theater in the city of Sag Harbor, New York, meeting a series of embarrassing and scandalous scenarios along the way.

“Supported by a cast of eccentric and local characters of real life, the film is both a love letter and a satirical comment on the Hampons that breaks the mold of the traditional narrative, described by the directors simply as a mockumentary on a documentary on how to make a musical on a film.”

Next to Pezzullo, the cast includes Kristen Curcie, Mohna Hoppe, Ruby JacksonAND Alan Cepposwith the production that makes Hampons’ real personalities heavily use. By mixing the satire with authentic affection for the local community, Bouckoms and Pezzullo creates a disaster behind the scenes that concerns both the oddities of the Hamptons as that of adapting a classic horror for the stage.
