Jason Ritter shed light on the next Lantern Series, offering a small but intriguing update on where things are behind the scenes. THE Parenting AND Grease Dion The actor will play Billy Macon in the Green Lantern series of DC Studios and, according to Ritter, the filming is already halfway.
In a recent interview with Forbes, Ritter shared:
“So far we have shot four episodes and we are about to start shooting three and four episodes. We are doing a little out of service.
“The story is a little jumping everywhere, but it was so funny and it is a really well -written and really fun show. I am just trying to adapt to that world and perhaps put a little stupidity in there.”
Ritter is bringing some comedy LanternA show that is otherwise framed as a gritty investigative drama.
His character, Billy Macon, is described as “a beautiful appearance that makes his father’s offers. Taking advantage of the reputation of his family, he clings to his ego as small cities and has everything to lose”.
That family could be more important for DC fans than it appears for the first time. There is talk in the community of fans that the grinders could actually be the notorious family of hands, which is linked to William Hand, Aka Black Hand, the villain obsessed with the death that plays a fundamental role in DC Black night plot.
If this speculation launches, this means Billy of ritter o Garret Dillahunt’s William Macon Sr. could be a first version of Black Hand itself.
The show is destined to work for eight episodes and Ritter’s comment confirms that the production has reached its average point. While it is still a way out of the airing, the casting and the crew are already generating a lot of curiosity.
Lantern stars Kyle Chandler AND Aaron Pierre Like Hal Jordan and John Stewart, two iconic green lanterns that will guide the investigations of the show on a mystery of murder set in the American heart. Nathan Fillion It is confirmed to appear like Guy Gardner, who should be a funny addition.

James Gunn made fun of the concept when he launched the slate “Gods and Monsters”:
“This is a story of a pair of green lanterns John Stewart and Hal Jordan. We have some other lanterns that are full of people, but this is truly a terrestrial -based television show which is almost like a real detective with a pair of green lanterns that are space policemen who look at the land of district, in which they discover a terrifying mystery that is linked to our greatest history of the DCU.
Lantern It is currently planned for the release on HBO at the beginning of 2026 and promises to be a very different type of superhero show.
