In an animated shortly funny shortness entitled If Batman was a real billionaireGotham’s greatest protector becomes his most terrifying overlord.
Instead of eliminating vigilant justice, this version of Batman leans strongly with advanced capitalism. The Joker plan to poison the water supply? It doesn’t matter when Batman already has the water company.
The next prowess of Penguin’s big media? Good luck to get the transmission time when the bat owns the news. Scagnozzi? They are now supplying the shelves in a branded barecase fulfillment center that earn a minimum wage … in bats.
It is a funny satire that launches the script on the Trope’s billionaire of superheroes, asking which power in the real world and uncontrolled wealth would really seem in a world like Gotham.
This Batman does not fight only the crime, is buying the infrastructure, hospitals, courts and even the minimum of public data. In the end, the classic Rogues gallery must also admit the defeat.
