Angel Studios has just dropped the official trailer for The elderlya sports drama based on a true wild story about Mike Flynt, played by Michael Chiklisthat at 59 he decided to return to university football to face his past.
Almost four decades earlier, Flynt had been hunted by his team after an altercation. Now, bringing that regret, he returns to school to earn his degree and fight for a second chance on the field.

This sincere history of redemption was originally previewed at the Fort Lauderdale Film Festival in 2023, but until now it has never seen the release. Based on the trailer, The elderly It looks like a stimulating, but slightly incredible sports drama, on determination and second possibilities.
Angel Studios will publish the film in Theatres on September 19, 2025.
