Rose Tyler and the ninth doctor returned for a brand new adventure, 20 years after having entered the Tardis for the first time together.
Big Finish has dropped a trailer for Doctor Who: The Ninth Doctor Adventures: Snarescoring the first time Billie Piper AND Christopher Eccleston They resumed their iconic roles side by side by the 2005 revival season of Doctor Who.
The audio drama kicks off a race of 12 episodes that will see Rose and the doctor revisit family places, bring together with old allies and fight some of the most memorable bad guys in the series. The first episode arrives this August and the fans can hear a taste of the meeting in the trailer just released.
According to the official synopsis, Ringi Find Rose and the doctor in the Powell estate, where they meet Kevin, a former neighbor who eliminates his father’s apartment. When an ancient power begins to move in the estate, Kevin is dragged on a new dangerous journey next to the duo to travel through time.
The return of Piper and Eccleston is a big problem for fans. The couple did not work together Doctor Who From season 1 of the relaunch, a season that has redefined the franchise for a new generation. Reflecting on the meeting, Eccleston shared his excitement:
“I am so happy to have returned to record more adventures for the ninth doctor with Billie. I don’t think my doctor exists without roses. He is a type of one man, a companion”.
Piper echoed to those feelings, saying:
“I can’t think of a better time to gather to get together with his first doctor than now. Twenty years after he came across the Tardis and adventure for the first time, here we are again, Chris and I, ready to have fun facing the universe – and the monsters – together.”
