Beautiful teaser trailer for train dreams with Joel Edgerton

Netflix released the first teaser for Train dreamsA film that has already been greeted as one of the best 2025 films. This large drama was previewed at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival in light reviews.

The answer was so strong that Netflix is giving the film a limited theatrical race. Adapted by Denis Johnson’s Acclaimed Novella, the story follows Robert Grainier, a worker of Tagliagna and railway that sails in a rapidly evolving America at the beginning of the twentieth century.

The film is the protagonist Joel Edgerton Like Robert next to Felicity Jones, Nathaniel Arcand, Clifton Collins Jr., Kerry CondonAND William H. Macywith the narration of Will Patton and a score of Bryce Dessner.

The teaser gives the tone beautifully, offering views of what critics call a visual masterpiece. The film is not just a historical drama, it is a human story of resilience, isolation and incessant march of progress.

As I said in my review: “Looking at it I seemed to listen to the types of stories that my grandfather told me about how it was to work in America in this same era, stories of resilience, of ordinary people who witnessed an extraordinary change.”

I also said: “It is an American story to the end, rich in the consistency of a past era. The film brings the same type of warmth and nostalgia that I feel when I watch Seabiscuit OR October sky. It is an comfort movie, which settles in your soul. ”
