Guillermo del Toroit is around Frankenstein He is coming to life and the first look at the long -awaited Netflix film has arrived thanks to Vanity Fair, giving fans a disturbing teasing of what will come.
With a cast of Powerhouse and a visionary director at the helm, this remake promises to be one of the most exciting movies of monsters for years and I can’t wait to watch it finally! This movie has passed a long time.
The photos just released give us our first look Jacob Elordi In his role as Frankenstein’s monster. In an image, Elordi’s creature is cloaked and masked, hiding its grotesque form from the world.
In another, it is curved and subdued, while Oscar IsaacDr. Victor Frankenstein seems to work on his tormented creation. Behind the scenes, Guillermo del Toro can be seen guiding the actors in the intense moment.
Elordi’s complete aspect is still in the phase, but the final shape of the monster seems absolutely wild. As he describes of the bull, “the creature recalls a marble statue from antiquity that has been broken and melted together”. Elordi joked about the fact that he lost the scene of nodous creation, saying: “I think it’s the day I didn’t shoot”.
The film is not just for fears and shows. Del Toro is digging in the emotional nucleus of Mary Shelley’s Gothic history, in particular his neglected themes of family dysfunction. “They are parents and children,” explains Elordi. “Fathers and children, in particular.”
Del Toro expands on this idea, drawing a line from Frankenstein to his other works. “These are the parallels between Pinocchio and Frankenstein,” he says. “It is the idea of a person who goes from a child to a human being in a short period of time and to be exposed to everything: gloomy, warmth, violence, love, loss.

As for Dr. Frankenstein, the version of Isaac is cold and ruthless, modeled by a brutal education due to his father’s kind concession, played by Charles Dance. Del Toro explains: “The film is trying to articulate that the father becomes his father from his son without realizing him”.
That toxic cycle explodes in the tragedy, while the monster turns to its creator in a final confrontation that leads to bloodshed and a chilling journey in a freezing desert.
