The first trailer has fallen and is full of disturbing images, ritualistic vibrations and a lot of supernatural chaos.
Set in modern New Orleans, Witch A young couple follows that unknowingly unlocks something ancient and evil after discovering a cursed pendulum bulletin board in their newly renewed French neighborhood. What begins as a dreamy company quickly transforms into a nightmare of possession, temptation and occult terror in full rule.
Madison Iseman (I know what you did last summer) leads the cast like Emily, together with Aaron Dominguez (Only murders in the building) ,, Antonia Desplat (Shantaram), AND Charlie Tahan (Ozark). Even together for the lap it is Stranger things star Jamie Campbell Bower.
Speaking with bloody disgusting, Russell said: “I wanted to go back to the horror genre. I kept an eye on this during my career, and I wanted to do something even more frightening and more imaginative. I wanted to overcome my other two horror films,” he said.
He added: “I put everything I had not tried in this film. I hope the fans of my work will recognize my touch. But we have dreams; we have fatal hallucinations. We have swaps on the body; we have travel in the literal time. It is fun in this sense, but the number one is frightening hell from people and I think we did that too.”
The trailer and poster show something much more visceral and stylized of the original Witch. There is a dreamlike terror for images, flashes of rituals illuminated by the fire, deformed bodies and distorted realities that suggest Witch He is drawing on something deeply unbridled. It is full -blown metaphysical horror.
The film will arrive in cinemas on August 15, 2025,
