David Corenswet got “claustrophobic” in his superman suit, says it was an “intense experience”

Entering the Superman costume is not apparently a task, just ask David Corenswetwho is guiding James Gunn’S Superman Restart. It turns out that the dress is not everything smooth.

In a recent interview with people, Corenswet opened for the first time how to hear the iconic blue and red dress, and it was a lot.

“It was quite comfortable because they had arrived at my proportions when I tested the screen in which I weighed about 195 pounds and when I entered my first costume fitting, I weighed about 235, 240 pounds.”

That change in muscle mass had a narrow price.

“Listen to the actors who interpret superheroes who talk about crushing themselves in the seeds. I had a kind of claustrophobic in the first time they were limited in all those places at the same time.”

Then there is the practical side of the superhero. While the dress is full of “many hinges”, Corenswet underlined, there is no “no hinge” for the bathroom breaks. Surprisingly, however, this did not represent a lot of problems. “Not at all,” he said. “I’ve never had a problem with this.”

Fortunately, he wasn’t going alone. Corenswet gave a great Shoutout a Scott R. HankinsCustomers who became a kind of hero behind the scenes. “The most surprising dresser you could ask,” he said, comparing Hankins to a “crowd repair”.

“Was it always to the ear that was going, ‘Do you need a break? Do you need a break? Of them you need a break and we can get out. I’ll tell him that it is me. He would apologize for me if I needed.

“And we put ourselves very well together to enter and leave the suit, so it would do it quite quickly and I could take breaks if I needed to be over the course of a day.”

So, while we will see Corenswet fly up as Superman this summer, behind the head there was an actor who learned to live and work within a costume that was rather uncomfortable for him.
